The 2m2c Montreux Music & Convention Center is a venue which specializes in hosting both cultural and business events. Climate and clothing
The weather is usually cold in March with temperatures of around 5 to 15° Celsius (41 to 59° Fahrenheit). In addition to warm clothing, you should bring a raincoat for rainy days. If you plan excursions to the mountains, good walking shoes as well as suitable clothing (gloves, hat) are essential.
Passport and visa requirements
For citizens of most countries, only a valid passport is required. However, visitors coming from certain countries may need a tourist visa. The local currency is the Swiss franc (CHF). One Swiss franc is worth approximately 0.80 euros. Banking hours are from Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 16.30. You can find current exchange rates here.
Shops in Montreux are open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 20:00 and Saturday from 9:00 to 19:00. Shops at the railway station are open Monday to Saturday from 6:00 to 22:00.

Access by rail
Distance Geneva Airport – Montreux: by train 70 min, by car 45 min. Rail www.sbb.ch and road facilities provide rapid access to the rest of Switzerland and Europe. The Swiss National Railroad system offers several links per hour to Lausanne, Geneva, Bern, Basel, Zurich and the regions of Vaud, Valais and others.

- From the northern part of Europe take the highway Bern – Fribourg – Lausanne (Direction Gd-Saint-Bernard, Vevey – Montreux). Exit: Montreux
- Form the southern part the highway Geneva-Lausanne-Vevey, (Direction Gd-Saint-Bernard-Montreux). Exit: Montreux
